A healthy and delicious snack made with ragi, methi, and wheat flour. these muthias are packed with fibre, iron, and calcium.
ragi flour
fenugreek leaves
whole wheat flour
besan
spinach
garlic paste
ginger paste
green chilli paste
sugar
turmeric powder
low-fat curds
salt
oil
mustard seeds
sesame seeds
asafoetida
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. start making dough by adding little water at a time. do not knead the dough too much. divide and shape the mixture into cylindrical rolls. place the rolls on a greased sieve and steam in a steamer for 15 minutes. cool slightly and cut into slices. keep aside. for tempering, heat oil in a pan. when the mustard seeds crackle, add the sesame seeds and asafoetida and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds. add muthia slices, toss well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
