A delicious and healthy vegan alternative to twix candy bars. made with almond flour, oats, and medjool dates, these bars are perfect for a guilt-free treat.

Instructions
Base:
1. Mix 1 cup almond flour, 1/2 cup oats, 2 tbsp maple syrup, 1 flax or chia egg (1 tbsp flax seeds mixed with 2-3 tbsp water), and 1/4 tsp salt together until a "dough" forms.
2. Line a 9 x 5 loaf pan with parchment paper and press down the dough.
3. Bake on 350 for 20 minutes.
Filling:
1. Blend 2 cups medjool dates (pits removed), 1/3 cup nut butter, and 1 tsp vanilla extract until smooth.
2. Spread over crust and freeze for at least 5 hours.
3. Remove from freezer, slice and coat in melted dark chocolate.
4. Return to freezer for 10 minutes to set, then keep stored in freezer.
Chocolate coating:
1. Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips with 1 tsp coconut oil.
