Delicious and simple pork gyoza recipe that kids will love. can be customized with different fillings like chicken or prawn.
fresh pork mince
large button mushroom
chopped wombok
spring onion or chives
mirin
ginger knob
salt and pepper
gyoza wrappers
Instructions
1. mix all ingredients together in a bowl. 2. Add 1 heaped tsp worth of the mixture into the middle of a gyoza wrapper. 3. Use your finger to dip into a bowl of water. use your finger to add water onto the wrapper only on one side. like a semi-circle. fold wrapper over and pinch the ends to seal. 4. Fry gyoza in a non-stick pan with a little oil, until you get a light golden colour on both sides. 5. Add 1/3 -1/2 cup water and add a little on to steam in medium heat for 3 mins. 6. Keep cooking until all of the water has evaporated. can also cook with the lid off at the end to get them semi crispy again.
