peanut butter
coconut or brown sugar
unsweetened apple sauce
almond milk
whole or quick oats
baking powder
salt
ground cinnamon
pure vanilla extract
semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper. in a large bowl, mash the bananas. on medium speed, add in the remaining ingredients in the order listed above. pour mixture into prepared pan and bake for 25-28 minutes. remove from oven and let sit at room temperature for 30-60 minutes. after cooling at room temperature, place the pan in the refrigerator for 1 hour until chilled. after 1 hour, remove bars from pan using overhang of parchment paper. drizzle peanut butter (optional) and enjoy!
